Paul Richards, 1964-1996
It is with sadness that I note here the death on July 31st last year of an accidental herion overdose of my dear friend Fabby Paul (also known as Poppers Paul, Schooleen and latterly, to his delight, Crappy Paul).Paul recorded a fragment of his life story with the Ourstory Project covering his nights clipping round Asylum in the early 80s with orange hair, blue eyebrows, a suit and stilettos.
He ornamented many dancefloors with happy displays of arm-waving and I will always remember his Stevie Nicks impersonation one drunken night dressed in a curtain and an empty fruit basket.
